Envisioning The South Okanagan in Film
The Reel Peach Film Festival was a new addition in 2015 to the Penticton Peach Festival line-up. The various entries for the film festival will be aired each night during the Penticton Peach Festival after 9:00 pm, before the main act plays. The videos will air beside the Peter Bros. main stage on the big screen. Typically each night of Peach Fest before the main act plays, while the stage is set up, there is space to fill as it is too dark and crowded for other entertainment. The Reel Peach Fest offers an opportunity to entertain the large crowds and showcase the Okanagan with authentic experiences and different perspectives. The Reel Peach Fest is an opportunity to engage the 5,000+ people in Okanagan Lake Park with films about Okanagan experiences and more recently adventures involving a PEACH.. It is a beautiful setting along Okanagan Lake under the stars where you will view potential new activities or adventures, showcased on film, that will inspire you to try and will ignite your community pride.
About the Penticton Peach Festival
The 77th Annual Penticton Peach Festival will run from August 7th to August 11th, 2024. 5 days of family fun including a kid's zone, kiddies' parade, grand parade, Peach bin races, sandcastle competition, slo-pitch and beach volleyball, Peachduro bike event, and amusement rides.
This year promises to be bigger and better than ever and will be fun for all ages. The line-up of top-notch entertainers includes: Nazareth, Honeymoon Suite, Steven Lee Olson, Odds, Mega Motocross, plus Rock Tribute Bands, awesome local acts, and much more.
